WRL’s fourth quarterly board meeting for 2011 is scheduled for October 24, 2011.

On June 5th, an article written by reporter Doug Erickson entitled, Quest for a Lost City, was published in the print version of the Wisconsin State Journal’s “Sunday Best Section”. The article is now available online at http://host.madison.com/wsj/entertainment/city_life/article_d22ed093-7db3-5d74-9f2e-7fe03972a7f4.html Erickson’s objective treatment of the story behind the creation of WRL revealed a glimpse into the little-known history about its founder, Jerry Wells, and his decision to push ahead with the Atlantis-Bakhu research despite quite strong widespread academic resistance to the topic. It was also well emphasized by the reporter that, since Wells has independently educated himself through self-study in the subjects connected to his research, he faces a rather significant bias from those most ideally positioned to offer aid through their expertise and involvement by their affiliated colleges and universities. Clearly, Wells is optimistic his new interpretation of ancient myths, and the testable hypotheses derived from them, will be recognized by the laureates who work so hard to expand human understanding in an institution named in honor of Plato’s Academe.
April 24, 2011–An official press release has been issued to major media markets announcing the formation of WRL, the award of its IRS tax-exemption status and a brief description of findings from its primary research work called the Atlantis-Bakhu Project. The press release also funtions as a ‘call for scholars’ and their respective institutions to join the project to assist with international protocols and to participate in the many field investigations. Fundraising for the project is one of WRL’s stated goals.
In response to our visitors feedback, WRL has updated and improved the Atlantis-Bakhu Project presentation and also added audio narration by Founder Jerry Wells. Make some popcorn, grab a beverage and sit back for the show! To view, click Presentation and enjoy 🙂

WRL exhibited at the Geological Society of America (GSA) Annual Meeting & Exposition held at the Colorado Convention Center in November, 2010. We made numerous contacts and were well received by those who visited the booth and listened to the research. The booth was deemed a big success and our informative colorful graphic display received many compliments (see image)! WRL captivated the attendees by opening their minds to new possibilities.
